A small group of Columbia alumni founded the Columbia Alumni Club of Denmark in the spring of 2009, with an inaugural event on May 25, 2009.

Our mission is to bring together any and all Columbia University alumni with a connection to Denmark.

The club organizes an annual Thanksgiving dinner, which has become the club’s signature event of the year. The club also organizes professional networking events, cultural events, and events with faculty speakers when they visit Denmark.

Since 2008, alumni from Sweden have also attended events in Denmark, and we hope that the launch of the Columbia Alumni Club of Denmark’s new website will attract new members.

The Columbia Alumni Club of Denmark aims to be a resource for networking among alumni already in Denmark or alumni moving to Denmark. We would like to plan events that are of interest to the alumni of each of the schools at Columbia University.

Because the club is fairly small compared to the other domestic and international clubs, the club structure is very flat: we are five board members and we are open to suggestions for new events and initiatives.
