Dear alumni in Denmark,

Yale University's a cappacella group Redhot & Blue will touring Denmark in May, and we have been invited to their concerts. Please feel free to share with friends and family. 

Below are detailed information from Julian Drucker, who has been in touch with us about the upcoming tour:

Four concerts planned in Copenhagen or near Copenhagen from May 18 - 21, 2014:

1.

In Copenhagen, we have a concert on Sunday, May 18th at St. Alban's Church at 12:15 PM.

2.

Later that day, we have a concert at Søllerød Church at 3:00 PM.

Then, we go to Helsingør for a concert on Tuesday, May 20th at 7:30 PM at Vestervang Church.  

4.

Finally, on Wednesday, May 21st, we will be singing in Sorø at the Klosterkirke at 7:30 PM.

Some background from Julian Drucker:

Redhot & Blue is Yale University's oldest mixed-voice a cappella group. We are very excited to be coming to Denmark next May as a part of our summer tour. Rooted in a strong jazz tradition, we have the pleasure of touring internationally every year to share our music with audiences all over the world. Last year, we were fortunate enough to tour Spain and England, and this summer, we're thrilled to be traveling to Denmark!

We will be there from May 14th-24th, and though we are from Yale (but my father went to Columbia!), Julian Drucker thought some of the members of the Columbia Club of Copenhagen might be interested in attending one or more of the concerts during that time.

In the past three years, we have performed at such locations as UNESCO in Paris, the Spanish Steps in Rome, Deree University in Athens, Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, and Yale Clubs across the United States. Additionally, we have been asked to perform for the likes of Harry Belafonte, Morgan Freeman, and President Barack Obama.
